A Challenge In 'Art"

It has been some time since I've updated at The Atti Window.

So, what Have I been doing since the first of the year? Have created various 'art creations' for swap partners. I have had fun with that. Here are just a few of the pieces I've sent.

These cute creations are called 'skinnys'. They are 3" x 5" and are only for trading. The challenge was to create a red skinny and this was a first for me. Red card stock for the backing with a sheet of music that an ink pad was pounced on. The red flower was printed on the music and the vintage lady was cut out and placed onto the music. She is 'dusting' the flower with a white feather. Using a deco sissors completed the 'Red Skinny".

The next challange was the white skinny. The vintage lady was printed in black and white on white card stock. Her lips, cheeks and eyes called for some color, so she has 'lipstick, rouge, and blue eyes'. Cutting around her head allowed me to cover the background and the sides of her dress with netting. Sequins and jewels completed the background and on the dress. I think she is very elegant. One comment indicated that she was their muse. She looks like she is waiting for her beau to visit. Wonder what he looks like?
